The year
2021 has seen many memorable performances in T20 cricket. Players like Babar
Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Ravindra Jadeja have made headlines all over the world
with their performance. At the same time, some players could not live up to the
expectations of their teams.
Now
former Pakistan cricketer big legend Danish Kaneria has selected his T20 team
for the year 2021. Kaneria's T20 team includes some big names in the year 2021
while some big stars have failed to make it to the list.
Announcing
the team on his YouTube channel, Kaneria picked 12 players in the squad,
including four Indian and three Pakistani players. At the same time, two
players each from England and Australia and one player from New Zealand have
been able to make a place in this team. Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has
been selected by Kaneria as his 12th player.
Kaneria
chose the Pakistani opening pair of Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam as the
openers, who added 1165 runs with the help of five centuries and two
half-centuries. He completed the top order by including England wicket-keeper
batsman Jos Buttler, who scored 589 runs at a strike rate of 143.40 and an
average of 65.44.
Kaneria
has included four all-rounders in his team, which include the names of Liam
Livingstone (England), Mitchell Marsh (Australia), Ravindra Jadeja and
Ravichandran Ashwin. After this, Kaneria has given place to Shaheen Shah
Afridi, Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah in his team as fast bowler death specialist.
At the same time, Kaneria has also included Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa
in his team. The
Indian opening pair of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma have not found a place in
Danish Kaneria's team. At the same time, big players like former T20 captain Virat
Kohli and T20 World Cup 2021 Man of the Series David Warner could not make it
to the place.
